Domaine de la Renjarde is a first-class Southern Rhône Estate which is under the same ownership as Chateau La Nerthe at Chateauneuf-Du-Pape. It is located at Serignan-du-Comtat, which is between Orange and Montpellier. Grenache, Syrah, Mourvédre, Carignan, and Cinsault are planted in soils deep in calcareous sandstones well-sited on gently undulating slopes. The grapes are all machine harvested and are fermented in a combination of concrete and temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.
Its top wine is the Côtes du Rhône cuvée Henri Fabre, which, unusually for this appellation, is a Shiraz dominated blend. Winemaker Alain Dugas is one of the most respected in the region.
